I'm passionate about the need for real care, for crafting funerals and memorials that feel right and true, and for making this moment as powerful as it can be in the experience of loss and remembrance.
I spent 25 years as a creative copywriter before turning to celebrancy. It makes good use of my skills and allows me to do what I enjoy most: listening to people's stories, getting to understand what they lived for and what they have meant to the people around them.
I'm here to listen to your stories and to talk about the service you want, helping to shape something unique, as it should be. I'm a civil or independent celebrant, so while I can include some religious elements if you want, the service will be shaped around your person and your wishes, not around religious practice.
I work across Sheffield, South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, North Nottinghamshire and surrounds.
It's my job to bring calm and reassurance, to support you through creating the service you want and to lead it on the day of the funeral. As an independent celebrant there is real flexibility in how we do this, but to give you a broad idea of what to expect, this is how I often work to plan funerals and memorials.
I'm happy to talk before you decide to work with me. If I'm not able to take your call, please leave your details and I'll call back as soon as I'm able and well within 24 hours.
