When someone dies, it can be hard to find the time or headspace to reflect on what they truly meant to us, or to think about how we might express this in a service.
My role is to start the conversation that makes this possible. We'll make the time, gather the necessary people, find the right space and just talk. It can be emotionally difficult, but it's time and emotional energy well spent - this is a moment that matters and it can really help to feel you've done justice to the person who has died.
"We all wanted to thank you for the service. Your calm presence and excellent organisation helped immensely on this difficult day."
